Our reading incentive program has gotten off to an amazing start. Reading Brings Drama to Life has certainly brought excitement to Havre de Grace.
Remember your goals and turn in your Reading Brings Drama to Life goal sheets in at the end of the month. Celebrations began in December. Let's get everyone to read!

Our ReAch program is up and running strong. Our first and second graders are working hard to improve reading skills. Parents, please remember to sign their nightly homework. Rereading their books at night helps to develop fluency and gives the children a chance to show off.
An exciting addition to this program is that ReAch children also get time on our new Imagination Station computer program. They are eager to finish their breakfast so they can come to the computer lab and learn more reading skills on this fun reading program.
Our ReAch Angels
Mrs. Leonard - reading specialist
Mrs. Leonard has been a reading specialist in the Baltimore and Harford County School systems for twenty five years. This is her fifth year serving as reading specialist at Havre de Grace Elementary. She loves encouraging all students to read.
Mrs. Tibbs-Fournier - ReAch para-educator
I am a 53 year resident of Harford County. Twenty-three of those years have been at Havre de Grace Elementary . I have enjoyed working in classrooms but my heart is with the ReAch Program. I still get excited about a child's self-awareness that he or she CAN read. My years of experience working here are full of precious memories of the dedicated teachers whom I had the pleasure to work with daily. I look forward to another rewarding year.
Mrs. Kruszewski - ReAch paraeducator
Mrs. Kruszewski- I've been working in the school system since 1988. I'm presently working as a para-educator in the ReAch program and have been doing this for 12 years.
Mrs. Mohr- ReAch para-educator
Mrs. Mohr - I was born right here in Havre de Grace. I've worked here at HdGES for 5 years. This year, I'm be a ReAch Angel. I look forward to working with students I once worked with in Pre-K!
Mrs. Corso - para-educator
Mrs. Corso- I'm very happy to be working in the ReAch program this year. They really are "angels!" This will be my tenth year working in the education field. I love children.
