He was nominated for HCPS teacher of the year and made it to the top 10 finalist list! Mr. Dennison, you make Havre de Grace Elementary School proud!

We are also proud to announce that Havre de Grace has more winners! Two teams of third graders won top prizes at the Baltimore Museum of Industry's statewide engineering competition.

The HdG Rockets took first place, and the HdG Blizzards took second place. Their eggs survived the crash and did excellently in the distance test. We brought home our school's FOURTH distance trophy.

THEN, on April 24th, the Carousel Crunchers took their "kid-made" carousel to the Theme Park Challenge and they were awarded second place. Their oral report was amazing. Teacher, parents, students and coaches were very, very excited.

The cars, carousel, awards and trophy are on display in the showcase in the school lobby.
