Counselor’s Corner-
Hello Everyone!!! At Havre de Grace Elementary, students have been learning the six- pillars of character. They are, Responsibility Respect, Caring, Fairness, Citizenship. and Trustworthiness. February and March’s Character Education trait is Fairness. We are learning how to be fair, and help our friends. The students are also learning about recognizing different Feelings, through colors, music, stories, and activities.

Biographical information
Hello! My name is Emily Kyle, and this is my first year as a school counselor. I am very happy to start off my career at such a wonderful school as Havre de Grace Elementary truly is. I obtained my Bachelor’s degree in 2005 in Behavioral Science, and completed my Master’s degree in January 2007 in Educational counseling, from Wilmington University in Delaware. I currently reside in Cecil County, Maryland with my husband Wesley, our dog named Karma, and our three cats; Pedro, Figaro, and Smaug. Outside of the school environment, I enjoy reading, walking the dog, and relaxing. I look forward to an exciting, and great school year.
