Mission

Every place you go has a purpose or mission, a reason for being and existing.  Whether they have thought out that mission or not, it is there.  Whether you have thought about it, it is there.  McDonalds -“To offer the fast food customer food prepared in the same high-quality manner, world-wide, tasty and reasonably priced.”  That is their actual mission statement and that is what you get from them, you don’t go there looking for a pair of pants, you go there looking for a “tasty and reasonably priced” meal.

Your mission shapes who you are and the decisions you make.  It is why you do what you do.  In a classroom it is no different, in fact it is even more crucial for everyone to know and understand the mission, the purpose.  Do students take the time to think about why they come to school each day and what they are doing while they are there?  Do we think about it when we send them off to school each morning?  Well, the D Crew has decided that our mission must and will guide us through our year together

Through collaboration from parents and students this is our mission…

The D Crew will take charge of their own lives by caring for others, believing in ourselves and having fun while we learn.  We won’t forget to work hard and always try to improve to make our goals and dreams come true.
